I’m Gavin. My whole life, I’ve known the Lord, but I haven’t always followed Him. I lived on the fence for far too long. Then Jesus radically encountered me and lit a fire inside me that will never burn out. There have been hard days, but God has been faithful to reveal Himself, especially through the practice of bringing my burdens and worries to His feet through journaling.

I created Altar as a place for you to bring everything you’re carrying and lay it at the foot of the cross. Altars are where things go to die. This is where we lay it all down.
